Where are you?

Luma is rooted in Peterborough, Ontario. We are adjusting back to "regular life" after being abroad from Central America from January 2014 until June 2015...

(2) The Jewellery

Tell Me About What You Make

All of the jewellery is hand-crafted by me in my studio.

I use a torch to melt the glass, kiln to slowly cool and anneal the beads, and sterling silver and silk to create lovely colourful jewellery.

All of my beads go through an annealing process which makes them strong and each piece is inspected by me as I am creating the piece. But glass is still fragile and should be treated with care.

Sterling silver oxidizes due to a chemical reaction with the moisture in the air. To keep your Luma pieces shiny and lovely, store them in a plastic zippy bag.

I'm really excited that now ALL of the silver I use in my designs comes from reclaimed sources so is 100% recyelced! Isn't it nice to know that you can wear something beautiful and know that your actions are not further harming this lovely planet?

(3) Online Shop

How about payment?

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and payment must be made in full before shipment! All payments are processed securely through my site using Stripe and all major credit cards are accepted.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yup! If you would like a wholesale account, please contact me and include your business details in your message.

What happens if I am not completely happy with my purchase?

Customer satisfaction is very important! If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact me so that we can discuss your concerns and work to find a solution.

(4) Shipping

How is shipping being handled?

The shipping fee includes the cost of shipping as well as handling. The standard shipping is through Canada Post. If you prefer to upgrade your shipping to Xpresspost (allowing for insurance and tracking), additional shipping charges will apply.

Your item can be shipped anywhere in the world - if your shipping destination is not offered, please contact me so that we can make arrangements.

I cannot be held responsible for damage during shipping. Please be advised that all customs, duties, and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
